I have been dancing since the age of 6 and trained at the Brendene Theatre School, Leeds studying the IDTA syllabus in ballet, tap and modern jazz. Throughout my career I have entered many competitions including the North East & North West of England Championships for ballet, tap and modern jazz. I have also entered the Miss Dance of Great Britain Heat, and appeared in and choreographed many shows.

I have been teaching now since 2002, and currently own my own dance school, Arabesque School of Dance, Kings Cliffe, Northamptonshire where I hold IDTA classes in all of the above subjects teaching children from the age of 3 years onwards.

I also teach dance for Stagecoach Theatre Arts, Peterborough and Wellingborough.

I started adanceforyou.com in September 2006 and since then have taught many couples how to dance including building their confidence so they looked good and feel comfortable on the dance floor.

All the routines I’ve done have had a variation of different styles, which have included steps from the waltz, cha cha cha, rumba, salsa and many more.

Some couples have wanted to impress their guests with a something a little different by combining a slow song then bursting into a an upbeat dance tune from the charts or latest dance music, one of which included Somebody to Love, by the Shapeshifters. Alternatively you may want to do a themed wedding dance ie Grease, Dirty Dancing or one couple in 2007 performed the exact dance from the film Pulp Fiction.

This is me in July 2007 performing our first dance for our wedding. We did a variation of 3 songs.
